This has been a good Pesach so far. I've moved away from a starch-based diet over the last year, so I'm not feeling the "there's nothing to eeeeat" deprivation I usually do during these breadless, pastaless, cookieless, and cerealless days.
We had great seders. Made epic amounts of food for epic amounts of people (a total of thirty, counting the two-year-olds!). Discovered I like zinfandel. Redid our compilation haggadah so that the page numbers were in order. Ditched the find-the-afikomen custom, which I've always hated, and took up the Miriam's cup custom, which I think is lovely. Flirted with unavailable women.
Now we just need to give back the tables and chairs we borrowed and move all the furniture back into the living room. I quite like having the armchairs on the front porch, but mom keeps muttering about Cannery Row.
